Why Sageism?
Have you ever looked back on your life and wondered, how you got to where you are today. If you’re like me you’ve probably had this thought more than once in your life. In fact, you probably have had many different people ask you the very same question.
To say the least, my journey has been one with many struggles along the way. Regardless of all the challenges, that I have encountered. I can honestly say that I wouldn’t have traded my life for any other life.
With the many challenges that my life has encountered, there seemed to be a congruent theme. This theme that so many people refuse to see or accept is one of the greatest gifts that I have received. The Gift that I am speaking of is the opportunity to change. With this opportunity, I have had a lifettime of experiences that have reshaped my life.
From these experiences, I feel as though I have much to share and have a burning desire to continue writing. In the earlier years of my life, my writing began as desperate measures to sort out the insanity that plagued my mind. To pull me up, out of the trenches when there was no reason to live. To this day my writing has been the one saving grace, that continues to be there for me. Today it has come to be one of my best friends.
Today, I am older, hopefully wiser and continue to welcome the opportunity to change.
Hopefully this site will inspire others to write; to be used as an outlet; to find the peace within and encourage the feeling of being connected with others. No one should ever be alone.
